TURMIX UNDERGROUND SHOW #6
“The nights of New York begin to vibrate again. That is why today I want to take you on a journey through the most soulful side of disco sound. The sounds I play at my residency at Ethyl’s in the Upper East Side. We have different stops from 1976 to 1979, classics and rarities, cheap records, expensive records and above all, good vibes. Welcome to the Turmix Underground.”

Their presentation card features two boogaloo remixes transformed into something more danceable and fresh while respecting the original recordings as much as possible. The result is a crossroad difficult to define, but that finds a common denominator in boogaloo, nu disco and house music.
